Municipality of Razanj

In the Telekom hierarchy, the Razanj hub has the rank of a hub area within the Krusevac Working Unit (network group 037).

During 2005, after the reorganization in Telekom, 4 basic regions were created, where the Razanj hub belonged to the "Center" region with its headquarters in Krusevac.

The Krusevac executive unit is divided into 6 regional switching nodes: Cicevac, Varvarin, Razanj, Brus, Aleksandrovac and Trstenik.

In 1997, the development of fixed telephony began. Telephony was carried out in the following rural settlements: 1997 - Poslon and Cubura; 1999 - Novi Bracin, Stari Bracin, Pretrkovac, Pardik and Setka; 2005 - Madjere. On the territory of the municipality of Razanj, analogue digital exchanges were replaced, in 1999 in Razanj and in 2005 in Vitosevac.

In 1997, the remote stage of the Razanj Central Center was activated with a new access network that supplies the villages of Poslon and Cubura.

In 1999, a new access network of IS Novi Bracin was built, which supplies the rural settlements of Novi Bracin, Stari Bracin and Pretrkovac, as well as new access networks of IS Pardik and IS Setka, which supply the villages of Pardik and Setku.

In 2005, the remote stage of the Razanj Central Center was activated with a new access network that supplies the village of Madjere.

On the territory of the Municipality, out of 23 settlements, the telephone network is owned by 15 settlements with 2.985 subscribers.

Telephone exchanges are located in 6 settlements. There is one central power plant in Razanj, two final power plants in Skorica and Vitosevac and three protruding stages in Novi Bracin, Setka and Pardik. Power plant capacity: Razanj-1248; Novi Bracin-512; Pardik-200; Skorica-400; Vitosevac-384; Setka-200.

On the territory of the municipality of Razanj, air networks have been set up in the settlements of Razanj, Varos, Lipovac, Vitosevac, Podgorac, Smilovac, Skorica, as well as underground networks in the villages of Madjere, Poslon, Cubura, Pretrkovac, Novi Bracin, Stari Bracin, Pardik, Setka. The length of the cable network is 41.390 m.

In some settlements there are users of CDMA wireless telephony systems: Braljina-94; Macija-34; Cerovo-21; Rujište-115; Black Kao-102; Praskovce-87; Maletina-53.

The access network was built by laying TT cables, 50% are lead cables with paper insulation, and 50% cables with PVC insulation. The average life of the access network is about 20 years.

Cable TT sewerage exists only in Razanj in the length of 900 m. The international optical cable and the local optical cable Bracin-Vitosevac and Setka-Pardik pass through. From Vitosevac to Skorica is an NF symmetrical cable.

In terms of the density of TT communication, the situation in the Municipality is more favorable compared to the previous period. The installation of a new hub in Razanj created the preconditions for a more active telephony policy. The municipality of Razanj has 24.09 telephones per 100 inhabitants. Out of a total of 2.739 telephones in use, 24% are connected in the seat of the Municipality, and the rest serve rural settlements. The main problem in the field of PTT infrastructure is the small capacity of the transmission system on the route node exchange Razanj - main exchange Krusevac, which makes it difficult for the Municipality to communicate with the environment.

There are 3 post offices in the municipality of Razanj: Razanj-37215; Vitosevac-37213; Novi Bracin-37216 as well as the counter post office in Skorica and Smilovac.

There are 3 mobile operators on the territory of Serbia (Telekom Srbija with networks 064 and 065, Telenor with networks 062 and 063 and VIP Mobil with networks 060 and 061).
