Cultural and historical monuments

 

Of the cultural and historical monuments of an older date, it is important to mention the monastery of St. Roman from the IX century. The monastery is located by the road leading from Razanj to Krusevac, on the right bank of the South Morava. It belongs to the group of monasteries that were built before Nemanjic.

- Church in Razanj "Sveti prorok Ilija" built in 1840;

Famous people

 

Among the famous people, we should mention the legendary flutist Sava Jeremic. He was born in the village of Poslon, on January 13, 1904, and he marked his life with a flute - an instrument that in the period from 1936, when he became a member of Radio Belgrade, until his death, on April 21, 1989, he recorded trace in Serbian original works.

In the period, which was noted as the most successful in the work of Sava Jeremic, he performed with numerous orchestras in the country and abroad, writing the golden pages of our folk music.

Sava Jeremic's great success at the international festival in Langolen near London is remembered, when he won the first place in playing folk instruments. At that time, Sava Jeremic represented Radio Belgrade, that is, his country. Even today, games such as "Paraćinka", "Ražanjsko", "Kruševačko", "Palilulka" and many others are remembered.
