The preschool institution "Leptirici" started working on May 9, 1983.

The building of the institution has three rooms for children, a gym, a kitchen, a library and offices used by the accompanying services. The yard of the building is spacious and arranged.

Preschool institution "Leptirici" with its main activity, and that is care and educational work with children aged one year before starting school, is one of the most important factors for building a child's personality.

As such, it occupies a particularly important place not only in the lives of children and parents, but also in the local community.

Preschool education is realized in accordance with the General Fundamentals of the Preschool Program, which was adopted by the National Education Council in accordance with the Law on the Fundamentals of the Education System. In order to improve the activities of preschool education and increase the coverage of children, in addition to the preschool program, programs are realized depending on the specific needs and interests of children and families.

The preschool program of the preschool institution includes: educational work and program of care with children up to three years of age, as well as the program of educational work with children from three years of age until starting primary school, which includes a preparatory preschool program. Beginning in January 2013, the preschool institution introduced a new form of work called "Igraonica". Children work according to a special program that was organized as a result of the institution's participation in the "IMPRES" project (improvement of preschool education in Serbia). In addition to the special, a specialized program is organized, the goals of which change with the end of the school year. So far, the following have been organized: Specialized program of physical education, Studio of dramatic expression and Music studio.

The goal of this Institution is to provide children with normal physical, intellectual, socio-emotional and moral development, while nurturing communication and creativity in children.

We want to become an institution where all children grow, develop and achieve in a quality educational environment, relying on active methods and forms of work, with active participation of parents in educational work, in an atmosphere of positive professional communication and professional competence of employees.

MISSION

The mission of our institution is to provide our children with a favorable and safe material and social environment with all the conditions and incentives for the overall psychophysical development and realization of their rights, and to provide assistance to the family in performing the parental function.
