The organizational unit Library works at the House of Culture.

After the revision of library and information material in 2018, it was determined that the library has a book fund of 22.134 library units (books and brochures), and 16.032 titles, in addition to them, it has newspapers and magazines from various fields as well as non-book fund. Procurement of books is done by purchase, gift and through the purchase of the Ministry of Culture. The books in the library are processed according to the Rulebook for the record of library materials and are available to users. An alphabetical catalog is kept.

The fund of serial publications consists of two magazine titles and one newspaper title. The users of the Library are from all population structures from the entire territory of the municipality. The statistics of readability and the type of material used, age and educational structure are kept on the provided form. The largest number of users are primary and secondary school students, students, workers, housewives and pensioners.

Procurement and number of read books and library users in the previous 5 years:

The native collection contains books, newspapers, magazines, photographs and other non-book material and is enriched every year. 1999 is the beginning of the collection of the native collection. The total number of monographic publications of the native collection is 106,  3 titles of newspapers and 2 titles of magazines, and 27 copies of rare and non-book material.

Library activity - Main activity:

• Procurement, collection, processing, storage and protection of library materials (books, brochures, magazines, newspapers and other materials),
• Processing of books and serial publications according to current regulations,
• Loan of library material,
• Creating a catalog of the entire book collection,
• Collection and processing of native material,
• Monitoring regulations in the library business
• Action "Mesec knjige" (free enrollment of champion students, meeting with preschool children),
• Promotion of new editions of native writers.

The plan for further and more successful work is to increase the number of library users with better promotion, workshops for children, free enrollment actions and even better procurement of books for all ages and from different fields. Also improvement of technical equipment for better holding of cultural events.
