Municipality of Razanj

Activities in the field of culture in the municipality of Razanj are dealt with by the institution House of culture Razanj, whose founder is the Assembly of the municipality of Razanj, and citizens' associations, whose main activity is culture and artistic creation. Organizations in the field of culture are financed from the budget of the municipality of Razanj.

House of culture Razanj implements its program tasks through its regular activities, as follows:

• Library activity,
• Music and stage activities and artistic creation,
• Festivals, competitions, colonies, exhibitions,
• Amateur and educational activities,
• Promotions, presentations and other activities.

House of culture Razanj realizes its program tasks in cooperation with the municipality and local communities, schools, institutions and associations in the field of culture.

In order to preserve our cultural heritage and customs, events are held during the summer: Festival of Flutists and Folk Art "Dani Save Jeremica", Festival of Music and Folklore "Ja pogledah preko kola" and a concert in Razanj within the International Student Folklore Festival in Nis House of Culture Razanj, KUD "Sava Jeremic" and the municipality of Razanj.

Today is the most famous event called "Dani Save Jeremica ", which has been held in Razanj for 20 years at the beginning of July and brings together the best cultural and artistic societies, singers and instrumentalists of folk music.
